Established in the fall of 2000, the Garden Gate Tea Room is housed in a turn of the century stone cottage that was home to the immigrants who came to America looking for a new life by finding work in the steel mills. This building, rich with its’ colorful past, seemed appropriate when I decided to start a new business venture after working in the same mill. You will enjoy your visit to our tea house which has an eclectic atmosphere rich in history that combines two of my favorite things...Gardening and Cooking
